With just a couple of weeks remaining until the start of the play-offs, the Lakeside Hammers push to remain in the play-off positions is very much on.

Without new signing Peter Ljung, Hammers claimed a vital three points with a 49-41 victory over the Wolverhampton Wolves, with Lee Richardson recording a perfect 15 points maximum.

Last Friday Ipswich were the visitors to the raceway. Lakeside's impressive home form continued with a convincing 55-37 victory. For the Witches Scott Nicholls top scored with 11 points. Adam Shields with 11 and Lee Richardson 12 points were the top scorers for Lakeside.

Wolverhampton gained swift revenge for the recent defeat against Lakeside with a 56-37 win. Once again Lee Richardson led the line for the Hammers with 13 points.

Starting  this Friday 3rd September Lakeside have two very important home meetings in the space of four days.
